Nardonnes La Famiglia Pizzeria in Atascadero

Tried for the first time with my family before the holidays. Was not disappointed at all. The seven of us ordered two large cheese and pepperoni pizzas and they were both creatively cut into 4 inch squares. Very tasty pizza and salad. Will be going back again.

I’ve been coming to the store for over 35 years .... The food was amazing but the facility and the staff sucked The first 32 years. However the new owners have totally turned the places around and improve the facility and the staff and make all of the customers feel very welcomed. This does not in clued the fact the pizza is still the best on the Central Coast and beyond as well as the beer selection and the smiles. Thanks for all you do. Templeton resident, Dave H

The house crust was very tough. Overworked. Dry. I couldn't eat much fresh, and I'm on my 3rd day picking at it to not waste it. The "buffalo" wings tasted like someone mixed bbq sauce and hot sauce, but not in any pleasant sense. Had I known, I never would've ordered them. The garlic bread was also tough, and came as uncut slabs. Not exactly easy to eat, but just okay. The inside of the restaurant is very nice, but cramped. They do have a full bar. But no real room for waiting, and parking is a nightmare. It's a store front right on the street. Honestly, I probably won't be going back due to the food. But at least they were friendly and warm to me as a guest.

The food was fresh and excellent! The caprese salad had very fresh basil, tomatoes and mozzarella cheese with an olive oil vinaigrette. I had the Italian sub sandwich that had a tasty rosemary vinaigrette. Their house red wine was excellent. The blonde bartender/waitress did a great job and was really kind and helpful. I liked the music and the woodwork decor in this restaurant as well. There’s a bar with great wine and beer selection. There’s also big screen TVs to watch sports. I highly recommend this restaurant. I’ll be sure to try their pizza next time - it looks really good and fresh.

Great food

If you can't give this place five stars I just don't know where else you're going to eat pizza in Atascadero. Hands down best pizza in Atascadero. Family tradition. Really zesty awesome tasting flavor pizza sauce. The pizzas are a little pricey but it is well worth it. Get the pepperoni and sausage. The crust is huge the pepperonis are real flavorful and the sausage is like the size of Meatballs. They cut the pizza in squares. One will fill up a family. Best pizza spot in Atascadero

Bartender Alex is superb! Knows everyones name. Great crowd! Fabulous atmosphere. The A-Town Club is a great idea! Great beer selection!

The BEST pizza and great service!

Great pizza and service.

Being from Northern Cal we searched the review of all the Pizza places in SLO county. Nardonnes lives up to all the reviews the pizza was stunning to the palate. We ordered thin crust(great), mixed green salad w/homemade ranch(great), buffalo wings(great) but not spicy more like a sweet bbq and the beer selection from the bar was off the chain. Space is limited so defiantly call ahead and set reservations if your party is larger than 2. Like 3 minutes off the 101 a must have in slow county.

Will never eat here again. Top of pizza stuck to box lid, edges burnt. Italian Sub had no cheese when it was supposed to have Mozzarella. Calzone came wrapped in thin foil, greasy, thrown into a paper bag with no plate or foundation. Ordered to a hotel room at 7:19pm, order was promised in 45 min, order showed up 1.5 hours later at 8:51 pm. There were No Napkins, No plates, No plastic wear, we are wiping our hands on hotel towels. After initial phone call, manager simply said he would talk to his driver to find out what took so long. After I noticed sub was wrong, I called back and said they could come get it, and then he offered to take cost of sub off. Never offered to bring out plates, or napkins, or to remake the sub. Worst pizza experience ever, and I've had pizza all over the world.

I got to tell you nardone's is still my favorite pizza. After all these years and all the different vendors, nardone's is still the best. Ordering nardone's, ask for extra sauce I always do, and put on the toppings you want it's marvelous. One of the things I remember from a long time ago about nardone's was way back when you can order a pizza and the toppings would not be visible they be covered with cheese. Oh my God a Pizza Lovers dream. The tightest together with the thick crust that is so nice, the sauce with just the right amount of garlic, baked just right, and you got a real Pizza. Are you not going to find any of these two-for-one deals or any of the other stuff which I call crackers and cheese oh, but you're going to pay a little more and get a whole lot more. And man do I like this pizza. I got to go get another one I think I know what's for dinner tonight

Awesome beer selection. Pizza was great.

The place is a bit small, but don't let that distract you. Was there with friends and the pizza was amazing! Large, thick and cut into squares. Was a great experience and definitely going back when in the area. Just note it takes about 30+ minutes for the pizza to cook, so be prepared for a wait.

We were recommended this place by many people. The pizza tasted good and the portions were huge! My only complaint would be that the crust was very thick, but if you are a thick crust kinda person, this place would be perfect for you!Cheese was delicious, sauce was good, and with the thick crust it was super filling!

Best pizza in North County. Arrived early and enjoyed a quiet sit-down early dinner. Highly recommended as a local experience for one and all.

Always love the pizza. Usually get sausage and pepperoni on regular crust. Ordered that and a small Caesar salad. Salad was good, flavorful dressing, lots of parmesan cheese. Pizza was delicious even though the cook forgot the pepperoni...? Got there shortly after they opened. Wanted to watch the game. It's a good thing I'm a football fan because that's all they had on all five TVs. They offer what looks like a jillion beers and as many wines, not my thing, so you'll have to check it out yourself. The menu includes sandwiches and appetizers. There is a patio in the back and they have regular special events. Not sure about parking, I saw only street parking in the front.

Home town feeling good food nice people

After a long day of work I just wanted to relax and eat in. Instead I got burnt pizza and sandwich. Not even an apology didn't feel like they really wanted to fix the issue was just running through the check list

A long time community fixture and will not disappoint the pizza lover. We ordered the 12" the works and took half home (2 people). Standard crust is close to a "pan" style crust - crisp and slightly oily (very satisfying). Nice selection of local beers as well.

They make a great pizza pie! Cold beer too.

It was okay , I got the works it was nothing like it used to be, and for $37 I thought it was kind of expensive for what you got I,would have paid $37 for the pizza that was the real works.

I like this spot! They have delicious meals, their menu is large, The cook in that place is an expert, I love very much eating all their food. The food is always fresh and tasty, the attitude towards the visitors is helpful. I often go to this restaurant and I not even once was discontended. I recommend it to all my friends.

Nardonnes is the best pizza in Atascadero. It’s a longtime Atascadero fixture serving flavorful, fresh pizza. We ordered a combo recently, and it was perfectly done with tender crust, lots of toppings, and deliciously melted cheese.There is a great draft beer selection and the staff knows what their talking about when it comes to beer. Nice selection of wine too. There is a small arcade for the kids, and an outdoor patio in the back. It’s in an old time location, which can be a little small and dank, but it adds to the charm. Great pizza that leaves you satisfied that you spent your money well.

Nardonnes Pizza is by far the best tasting pizza around! I've been eating it since the Mid 70's.The best way to eat day old Nardonnes, is the old fashioned way, in an oven! Microwaving will destroy the flavor!

One of the best pizzas I've ever had in my life! The wings were also excellent as well. I was visiting my folks here in Atascadero and decided to go out for pizza and I'm so glad we did. There is nothing near as good where I currently live (Fresno) so I will make it a point to come here whenever I'm in town. Really awesome pizza Thank You!

This is the best pizza you can get in Atascadero. This is the only pizza you can't finish in one sitting. Amazing flavor and worth the price, it's a nice treat time to time. The inside is actually pretty cool, but the pizzas take quite a bit of time to be prepared. Your best bet is to just call it in and pick it up.
